Where disclosures appear
A general policy page is not enough on its own. A short disclosure is placed near equipment recommendations and affiliate-link groups so readers can see the relationship before following the link. Individual programs may require additional wording, which will be displayed when applicable.
How products are selected
Recommendations are chosen for relevance to the canning task, practical usefulness, clarity of specifications, and fit with the site's educational purpose. Commission availability does not convert an untested product claim into safety guidance and does not determine recipe publication.
Recommendation cards may appear before affiliate links are activated. If no qualifying link is present, Canning Vault does not earn a commission from that card.
Affiliate links, advertisements, and sources are different
- Affiliate link: Canning Vault may earn a commission if a qualifying purchase follows the link.
- Advertisement: A paid placement supplied through an advertising service and labeled as an advertisement.
- Recipe source: The authority supporting the canning process. Source links are not treated as product endorsements.
Your choice
You are never required to use an affiliate link or buy a recommended item to access Canning Vault's recipes, guides, FAQ, or tools. You may search for the same item independently. Prices, availability, warranties, seller terms, and returns are controlled by the retailer.
