Built for a more confident canning season
Canning Vault is a product of Cedar Ridge Ventures LLC, a United States–based independent software company. The product was created to make trusted preservation information easier to find and the practical work of planning, timing, recording, and organizing a batch easier to manage.
The website currently publishes 147 distinct water-bath canning recipes, a searchable FAQ, long-form learning guides, and free tools. The Android app adds a personal recipe vault, pantry and batch records, shopping and note tools, and optional Break Time games.

Canning Vault is not a government agency, university extension service, laboratory, or substitute for the controlling instructions from a research-based canning authority. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by USDA, the National Center for Home Food Preservation, the University of Georgia, CDC, Google, or any retailer unless a page expressly says otherwise.
That independence is why recipe pages identify their original source, the editorial policy explains what is checked before publication, and safety guidance tells readers when to leave Canning Vault and consult the authority directly.
